2024 Luke Lambert 'Crudo' Shiraz 750ml Mercurey A lovely green and yellow93 points Mike Bennie, The Wine Front Lots of black olive, salted liquorice, dried seaweed, smoked paprika, a touch of game meat, some garam masala spice and then, yes, then, the black plum, dark cherry, dashes of cola. A swirl of tannin through the palate, gently grippy, some light smoky minerality shot through. A bit of plushness, very dark and brooding, but also a clean, cool finish. Warming drinking, charming drinking. Savoury syrah here we go.
