It bears the typical marks of a bow from this workshop at this time, being stamped H. R. PFRETZSCHNER, MADE IN GDR on the sticks underside, and the Saxon royal coat of arms on its frog. The octagonal stick is made of pernambuco and features a more widely chamfered tip, silver winding, and extended leather lapping.
